Mickey Mouse, arguebly the greatest cartoon character of all time, has cancer of the ears.
It seems it wasn't detected in time, and so poor Mickey faces the awful prospect of having his ears amputated.
Of course, the media have had a field day with this story, with one network even releasing an artist's impression of Mickey minus his ears:
Now that's just pathetic.
The question everyone's asking is, will Mickey continue his career without his ears, or will he call it quits? Only Mickey himself can answer this.
Personally, I would hate him to end his career because of this sad setback. To me, Mickey will always be Mickey, with or without those famous ears.
Inevitably, this story has brought back into light Mickey's shady past.. As far as I'm concerned, all those drug and sex scandals are none of anyone's business but Mickey's.
I met him once during his adult stand-up tour of Britain in 91. I asked him for his autograph. I'll never forget his responce.. 'Fuck off you god-damn limey!' I was so honoured to be the centre of his abuse.
I can only imagine how Minnie must be feeling at the minute.
Anyway, no matter what Mickey decides to do in the future, this fan is behind him 100 percent!
