A friend at work is thinking about changing his name. He's been getting a lot of stick since this Osama Bin Laden came on the scene.

You see, his name is Al.. Al Qaida. As you know, Al Qa'ida is the name of Bin Laden's terrorist group, responsible for the September 11th attack on New York.

Al Qa'ida, when translated into English, means 'The Base'. He's now thinking about changing his name to Stan Qaida, which in English translates to the slightly less controversial 'Joanna Lumley'.
